Here is a collection of my favourite Cambodian recipes. I travelled to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in 2010, while I was living in Vietnam. I enjoyed the fragrant spices and fresh flavours in the local food. Unfortunately, I was slightly ill at the time, and didn’t get to enjoy the food to its full extent. However, I am lucky to have a friend who is originally from Cambodia. His mom makes the best spring rolls, and she has given me the recipe. I will certainly try to make those though I think I can never match her perfection!
My friend So also shared some of his favourite Cambodian recipes, which he likes to cook at home. I tried to make these and found most of the ingredients in London. I am sharing my adapted versions on this page.
