Here is a collection of my favourite Ethiopian recipes. Luckily, I have had the chance to try some authentic foods during my visit to Ethiopia in March 2020. This was right before the pandemic, and the last big international trip I would take for a year. Although injera is difficult to make and takes a lot of time, the other dishes are relatively simple. The spices and flavours are very important. Most can be found at a normal supermarket, but a few of the unique spices were trickier. I found an Ethiopian supermarket in the Shepherds Bush area of London. When possible, I have suggested substitutions. Also, if you don’t have time to make the injera, you can find this at some stores in London.
