Travel to Ramsey is possible on the Manx Electric Railway from Douglas via Laxey. Along the way, you can enjoy scenic views of the countryside and eastern coastline. Ramsey is located at the northeast of the Isle. It is a cute town, and nice to walk around. We enjoyed the train ride there with the nice views of scenery and also passing very close to the neighbourhoods. Most of the town was kind of sleepy, and we were not able to get a space to have a drink at the distillery. We went back on the next train to Douglas.

Food
Our visit to Ramsey was fairly brief, so we didn’t have any meals though. However, we did try to go for a drink at the Fynoderee distillery. Unfortunately, they said that they were full. They would not even allow us to order a drink at the bar. So, we finally got to try the gin when we could buy it at the Douglas Airport!
